Finnish design elements are added to the traditional basket weaving technique in the village of Iringa in Tanzania. Made from natural milulu grass and produced by talented weavers, these baskets are both aesthetically pleasing and highly functional.

Extra large baskets are perfect for collecting bulky items around the house. Keep yards tidy by storing kids' toys and pet items, or use in the corner in the living room as a catchall.

XXL floor baskets are low and wide, ideal for storing large, bulky items like blankets and pillows. The colour of milulu grass changes over time. When the basket is first woven, the grass has a shade of green. Over time, the colour will change from green to brown as shown in the product images. This process typically takes 1-2 months.

Following the fair trade practises of the World Fair Trade Organization, these baskets are produced to support women through flexible, safe work and extra income for families and communities.
