Ryogochi Genmaicha
This is, without exception, the most beautifully articulated genmaicha Bellocq have ever encountered. This organic tea presents with a wonderful clarity and balance, and is rich with wholesome toasty notes. Grown in the Ryogochi region of Shizuoka, an area renowned for its fine teas, this excellent genmaicha is a blend of equal parts first flush chumushi sencha and roasted organic brown rice.
While genmaicha is quite beloved, it is most often of mediocre quality - this genmaicha, however, is a revelation. The farmer, Mr. Iwasaki, has followed in his father's footsteps, and is a passionate steward of the land. He has created an exceptional tea; both the fine quality of the ingredients and their subsequent dialog make this a necessary and welcome addition to every genmaicha lover's tea collection.

Brewing Instructions:
- 1 tsp per 8oz/250ml of water
- 175ºF/80ºC (Bring fresh, cold spring water to a boil. Remove from heat, set aside 3 minutes, and proceed.)
- Brew 2-3 minutes
- Good for 2 infusions
